Well, this is my first blog...
I thought it would be a good idea to make on of these and track my photography and experiences and would make it easy to show people

Yesterday I went to the inauguration, with my buddy Kevin and Anna.. we stayed at a family friends house and woke up at 445 and got there on our bikes at 530 AM, WAY TO EARLY! We rode our bikes there and were at the Lincoln Memorial until about 7 then made our way up to the monument where we basically stayed and slept on the nice cold ground in the fetal position to try and contain some heat. Also, NEVER wear converses in the cold! WORST IDEA

I hoped for some better shots, but the fact that I got 2 hours of sleep the night before, i was passed out on the ground for most of the time :P and not in the greatest spot made it difficult.

Overall, Great experience, I was absolutely miserable with the cold but I witnessed something pretty incredible firsthand and am lucky that I got to do so.

I got a couple decent shots, nothing very impressive...next time I have an opportunity like this I will be sure to shoot a lot more and a lot better and get SOME sleep

The coolest part was afterward, just seeing the streets filled with people and bikes and no cars, we owned the road, it was awesome, definatly something I will remember

Inauguration!
